Motel Row soon to be a thing of the past.

Take a drive down Collins Avenue today in Sunny Isles Beach and one will quickly notice that it’s a far cry from years gone by when it was known as “Motel Row”. The just approved Chi 41-story, 38 unit condo tower was recently approved by the Sunny Isles Beach City Commission and will replace the Ocean Palm Motel – one of the few remaining examples of Motel Row. Now known as “High-Rise Row” the two, three and four story motels of yesteryear have been replaced by soaring towers with names like Jade Beach, Trump Towers and Solis. All this came about when the city of Sunny Isles Beach lifted the height restrictions and developers quickly moved in to build to the sky. Along with the new towers have come an exciting array of new shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. Come by and check out the new Sunny Isles Beach!
