Walt Disney News

Walt Disney has reportedly slashed its workforce and substantially reduced its annual out of films by more than half. According to insiders this is more aggressive than Hollywood had anticipated; especially coming off a movie as successful and the swash buckler hit Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Also the movies are set to be Disney-branded which suggests diminished roles for its Touchstone label.
