According to a report released by the National Association of Homebuilders/Wells Fargo index, Miami Beach homes builder’s confidence hit a 15 year low. When comparing stats from this year to this time last year there was a 3 point drop in the index from 39 to 42. Not only did July mark the eighth decline in nine months but dropped to lows that equaled December 1991. Miami Beach homes builders are given and survey that asks many questions about current sales and ask them to gauge prospective buyers’ traffic. A measure of sales expectations for the next 6 months fell to a 46 from a revised 50 which proves that more builders view sales conditions as poor.
