Foreclosures Up From Last Year

According to reports released by NAR the percent of foreclosures were up compared to last year this time by 17%. But, when compared to earlier months in 2006 is appears as though the rate is decreasing. James J. Saccacio, chief executive officer of Realty Trac, has said that the new U.S. foreclosure dropped to their lowest level of the year in June despite sensational and misleading figures that have been reported recently. According to the report released by Realty Trac there are 6 states with the highest percentage of foreclosures being Colorado, Nevada, and Georgia, Texas, California, and the Florida.
