Turtles Hold Up Progress

There are some Miami Beach homes owners who are unhappy about what they're hearing about beach cleanup. It seems that there have been an unusual amount of deaths on the beaches of Miami lately. These deaths aren't occurring from crime, they are the cause of the hopper dredge. And it is killing lots of turtles. That's right; turtles. The hopper drench lowers its giant snout and sucks things up from the seas bottom. It has huge impeller blades and when the water is sucked up into the tube, it is sent through the hose and blades. Many sea turtles are being sucked up as well and because of this some Miami Beach projects are being put on hold.
