Holdiay Inn South Beach Resort Closes Its Doors After 40 Years

The Holiday Inn South Beach Resort permanently closed its doors yesterday after 40 years of successful operation. The Miami Beach real estate was hailed as Miami Beach’s first branded hotel for over 40 years. The Holiday Inn consisted of 355 rooms and was located directly on the Atlantic Ocean. It is reported that one hundred people lost their jobs when the Holiday Inn South Beach Resort closed its doors. Rumors are spreading that the hotel was closed so that there could be room for more Miami Beach condos.
